Bottle at The Green Lion Inn, Malmö
Muddy light brown color. Aroma of cookies, sour, public toilet, mild urine. Correct body strength, sweetish cookie maltiness, dirty water, correct bitterness, yeast, light purposeless acidity. Totally wrong.

Gusher. Small beige head. Muddy brown body. Funky barnyard taste with wooden wild berry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish vinegary earthy aftertaste with wooden metallic barnyard notes. A bit messy, but not bad. (0.33l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

Dimmig, ja närmast simmig, rödbrun vätska. Stiltypisk doft av ekfat och äppelcidervinäger. Smaken är lite dammig, röda vinbär, ek ,pollen. Någonstans mellan flamländsk rödöl och en geuze.

Clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and moderate sour - vinegar. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. Not bad at all. 150910

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dim, dark golden with no head. Aroma is promising, funky Bret. Flavor is just an unbalanced mess, bad fruit, acid and medicine/bandage. Concerning what other says there must be a big variation between some bottles with this beer. I was obvious not among the lucky one.

Cloudy light brown , almost no head, but a slightly gushing bottle. Sourish woody winey aroma, nice. flavor is quite heavy, wood, sourness, grassy / flowery note that is slightly strange, sweet malts, caramel. Overall a very tasty brew, nice woody sourness. Aging this one would be .. interesting. (bbf 20-april-2020)

Bottle, at KØ-10. It’s a hazy, golden-brown beer without any head. Soy sauce, horse blanket and citrus on the nose. The flavor has a mild soy sauce touch, with lemon and some funk doing the rest of the work. Lemon, some funk and wet cardboard in the end. Medium body, feeling quite papery. A rather poor beer, it seems Hornbeer should stick to their darker ales, they do a good job in that area. 100507

Bottle 33 cl. Almost clear amber golden with no head at all. Fresh aroma of Brett and barnyard. Medium body, lightly tart fruit and some odd biscuity accents - not conditioned for long enough? Starts with a great aroma but fades out really. 080510
