We went back to the well of Belgian beer to draw this oft-neglected and mistakenly underrated style from its depths. Belgian Pale Ales have all the characteristic charm dubbels and tripels do, just in smaller quantities. And well, this one's no different, it's a finely balanced brew with noble bitterness that frames a crushable yeast quality right off the hop. Wishing Well Belgian Pale Ale was brewed with Ardenne yeast so this beer gives off high phenolic notes (clove and spice) while the German and Red Shed Malts make it a touch sweet like toasted caramel.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold amber with a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, Belgian yeast, pear, clove and floral yeast. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, pear, red apple, clove, Belgian yeast and spicy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty, clean and easy to drink.

Florals and citrus. Nice light Belgian ale. Golden orange pour with decent fluffy head. Light tangy finish with a bit of sweetness. Some attic dust. Can.
