Bottle from the sales bin @ Sterk. Opened with a firm hiss, and the foam was already pushing itself out of the bottle before I could pour it. Black colour, light beige head the quickly disappears. The aroma explains a lot: sour, a bit fragrant (floral), artificial honey, and some cocoa powder. Retronasal it's sour and lightly sweet. Flavour is sour with a hint of chocolatey sweetness. Warming alcohol. Medium bodied. Flavour lingers. Somewhat reminiscent of Flemish sour browns, but not what you'd expect from an impy. If the quality of their beers was mainly like this, I can see why this brewery went out of business....
