For 4.7% abv, this beer has a lot of flavour. Deep and rich and tasty. Really like it. A Guinness but better.

500 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, small creamy beige head. Moderate aroma of roast malts. Flavour much like Guinness, perhaps a tad sweeter, notes of coffee, a hint of liquorice.

7-5-7-4-14 Can, three months after canning. Pours pitch black, with a nice falling creamy nitro head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, sweet coffee, burned notes and minerals. Light body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with sweet coffee, brown sugar, herbal notes and burned wood. Lingering roasted finish. Balanced and moreish.

0,44 boks fra Fristeriets avdeling for kortreiste produkter, hjemme mens jeg vasker flasker til morgendagens tapping av juleølet: nesten helt svart med nydelig cremeskum som varer helt til bunns. En slank, tørr og lettdrikkelig stout med myk munnfølelse, kaffe, mørkrøstet malt og hint av urter. Litt kort ettersmak.
