500ml Bottle - Brown/dark amber in colour. Marzipan, caramel and raisins feature in the aroma. Roasted, fruity and slightly metallic taste with roasted malt, caramel, toffee and raisins. Easy to drink and fairly enjoyable.

(Draught, the 4.5 % ABV version, at Pikkulintu) Poured deep amber and clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained malts, grass and butter. Palate was medium bodied and stingy with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, roastedness, sweetness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and lightly roasty.

50cl bottle, CM-Vantaa. 4.5%. Pours copper color with a white huge fluffy head. Aroma is malty with some hints of caramel and chocolate. Flavour is mild and sweet , caramel malt mostly, ends little bitter. Münchener well recognizable. One of the better dunkels I have tried in a while.

Bottled. A nice copper-colored beer with an off-white to beige head. The nose has caramel and malt, with a light touch of fruits and grains. Flavor-profile is like a traditional Norwegian Christmas beer, with sweet caramel-malts and a balanced hop-profile, but without the notes of alcohol. It has a lightly dusty mouthfeel and a medium body, and a bitter, and slightly dry finish. (060428)

(Bottled) Amber colour with creamy, disappearing head. Malty, roasted nose with dark rye bread, toffee, caramel and a light whif of smoke. Malty taste with the same aromas, maybe some chocolate and dried fruit in there as well. Mildly hoppy and chocolatey finish. Nice and very drinkable.

Bottle. Dark amber colour. Unstable, colaish head. Quite dusty flavour. Pleasant enough, but a bit boring. Low bitterness.

Bottled. Reddish copper colour, small beige head. Caramellish sweet malts in aroma along with grassy notes. Weak roasted malts in flavour, which is smooth, sweetish bitter (caramel meets bitterness). Wellbalanced, like slottskällans beers usually are .

Clear copper brown, small white head. Flowery hoppy with sweetish diacetyl-like toffee hints. Quite light with butterscotch, grassy - notes (diacetyl? I’m not sure, not used to find it in Slottskällans, maybe just too caramelly). Drinkable but too sweet.
