(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Slottskällans München". Reddish brown almost without any head. Notes of caramel and roasted malt. Soft, only vaguely bitter and a bit too carbonated. But overall an OK brew. 060203 (Bottle 50 cl) As "Slottskällans Wien" 7/4/7/3/14=3,5 270303

(500 ml bottle, as Slottskällans Wien). Beautiful dark reddish brown colour, low head. Interesting strong aroma, initially it’s overwhelming horse stable / fresh horse droppings(!), later the caramel, molasses and malts come through. Malty sweetness is well balanced by the hops, pleasant mellow aftertaste. I’ll leave it to the "style police" to discuss if this is Vienna or Munich dunkel - IMO the Swedes have done a reasonably good job with this beer.

An amber beer with no head. The aroma is slightly sour and a little sweet - as if it has been brewed on brewing cereal. The flavor is very malty sweet - of an OK maltblend - but not really a special flavor. An OK beer - but nothing compared to other Slottskällans beers.

The aroma is strange, mixing some soap, flowers and hop. The mouthfeel is weak, with some caramel and light hop touch. Poor.

Beautiful amber color, thick head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, hop. Flavor dominated by the roasted malt, pretty dry, with a very light smokey note in the background. Pretty strong and quite long final.

Reddish amber - at least it looks nice. Big, bad phenols disrupt any sense of maltiness this beer was trying to develop.
