This fruit infused mead is traditionally referred to as a Melomel. We’ve combined our honey with saskatoon berries and a hint of crab apple. The tartness of the fruit and the sweetness of the honey harmonize perfectly, creating a well-balanced, bright & clean melomel.

750ml corked bottle. Pours a clear amber red with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipated. Semi-sweet aroma of honey, saskatoon berry, red wine and floral. Semi-sweet flavour of saskatoon berry, honey, floral and tart crab apple in a dry, boozy red wine finish. Full body with a syrupy texture and flat carbonation. Not bad, but a bit too much heat for me.
