Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013 - Session 2. Pours oily bkack with a thick, dark brown head. Heavy dark coffee nose, some chocolate cake, brownies. Big sweet flavor with lots of rich coffee and baking cocoa, charred malts, moderate roast. Full bodied, viscous, with fine and creamy carbonation. Moderate bitter earth finish, somewhat warming, with rich brownies, more baking cocoa. Good balance for such a bruiser.

Draft @ CBC 2013. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted thick malty coffee and chocolate aroma with hints of licorice. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor with toffee caramel hints. Has a roasted malty coffee and chocolate finish.

Greatly appreciated bottle share. Pours dark brown. Nose and taste of old coffee, sherry, old chocolate, milk chocolate and chocolate bread. Light soy. Medium body.

CBC. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 040513

Draught @ CBC. Pours pitch black with a very small small brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, hard roasted coffee, dark chocolate, light smoke. Flavor is very intense and rich hard roasted malt, coffeebeans, espresso, light smoky, dark chocolate. Full body, soft carbonation, no alcohol showing. 040513

Sample at CBC 2013, Saturday. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee, some dark chocolate, oak, molasses and some toffee. Also some light notes of ash. Long aftertaste, tasty.

Sample @ CBC. Pours black with a beige head. Notes of coffee beans, chocolate and light smoke. Intense chocolaty taste with notes of coffe beans and toasted vanilla. Thick mouthfeel. Well balanced.

Pours pitch black with a tiny brown head. Aroma of sweet sticky roasty malts, syrup, vanilla and cocoa. Taste is quite sweet and massive with notes of roastiness, syrup, sweet licorice and chocolate. Finish is sweet and syrupy with loads of roastiness. Quite massive, but perhaps a tad too sweet for my taste.
