Half-litre bottle, via Beers of Europe: BB 26th Nov 2021. Drank in my back garden on 29th May 2021. Clear mahogany/teak body, off-white head that hung around for a while. Semi-sweet malty molasses rule the nose and taste, caramel and treacle like flavours. Not as thin as some beers in this style, enjoyed it.

500ml bottle delivered from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Reddish brown and clear with a decent-sized off-white head. Malty aroma, light dusting of chocolate, forest fruits, metal. Sweet taste, more chocolate and a little cherry, with hop bitterness in the finish. It's nice if a bit rough and unwieldy.

Tight white head left a creamy cover on a dark brown still body. Caramel, smoked & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lively back. Malt, roasted, caramel, nutty & malt tastes. Great quaffing beer.

Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Tan conglomerate head with good retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Dark earthy caramel aromas. Crisp with sweet caramel and candy corn upfront turning dry in the earthy, medium length finish.
