Bottle #12201. Slightly cloudy reddish copper, with a beige head that faded almost immediately leaving some light carbonation; rich fruit cake aroma, with vine fruits, port and brandy; rich vinous sherry-like flavours, deep and warming but with a slightly rough edge, then becoming smoother with a caramel and toast body before a warming finish. This vintage seems to be past its best.
