Bottled (BB 01/2010)
Golden color, small white head. Strong grassy nose. Harsh papery malty flavor with woody hoppyness. Harsh aftertaste. One of the worst beers from Bamberg :)

Bottle, 4.9%. The head works its way very slowly up through the bottleneck after opening, creating a nice ice cream cone. The flavour is a little bready. Clear yellow colour, big stable white head. The flavour is rather thin, hint of bread and grain. Medium bitterness. Seems clean when drunk quickly, but I would not want to sip it warm.

Bottled. Clear pale golden, rich airy head. Vague spicy grassy nose. Sweetish with sourdough and resin. Mushy and poorly structured, no firmness and no crispness. Long unpleasant resiny bitterness with some metal. A terribly cheaply made excuse for a pils.

The bottle looks not so good - seems to be a cheap beer. And it is one. The aroma is very sourish and fermented, the flavor is better - drinkable. Nevertheless not really a good beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, golden with a lively, white head. Malty nose. Medium body dominated by pale malts and a whiff of cardboard. Distinct, bitter finish. Decent for a cheap ass beer. 201107

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished white head. Aroma is slight breadish and mild grainy, not much hoppyness. Flavour holds a mild cardboardish note which goes dry into the finish. Finish is somewhat bland and boring malty.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized, foamy white head with lace. Grainy malty aroma with citrousy hops and a light touch of honey-sweetness. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mf. Quite balanced taste between soft and moderately sweet grainy malt and citrousy, slightly herbal hops; almost dry slightly bitter finish with a light hoppy touch. Clean and solid Pils with a restrained hop-character which I appreciate more instead of using loads of cheap, metallic hop-extracts. .
