Bottle. Copper color. Citrus, toffee and floral notes in the aroma. Slightly tart citric flavor with hints of caramel. Earthy hops. Medium bodied. Tasty brew for its ABV.

Bottle from ASDA. Amber with a short-lived, white, head and plenty of fizz. Sweet, caramel and berry aroma with a surprisingly strong whiff of booze. Flavour was also sweet with doughy malts, some orange and a gentle finish with slight boiled sweet edge and hint of toastiness. Didn’t work for me.

Bottle at home. Light amber orange colour. Thin fleeting white head. Nose is sweet toffee and grassy hop. Flavour is toffee with a hint of roast. Semi dry finish. Some metallic, and a dirty grassy bitterness. Palate is light and a little thin. Middle of the road.

My bottle @ benzai. Orange to amber colour with no head. Smells slightly hoppy, malts, fresh. Tastes hops, malts, slightly barley, hay, barnyard. Easy drinkable, good tasting beer. Nice and light.

Caramel colour, white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, biscuit, light fruity. Light sweet, light bitter flavour. Quite some caramel, light earthy. Light carbonation, medium, bitter finish with malty notes.
Rather nice beer.

50cl bottle @ home. Clear copper color, medium sized white to off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell malts and a light fruityness. Taste malts, a hint of raisins, a hint of chalk, slightly bitter. Low to medium body and carbonation.

500ml Bottle: best before Jan 2013, poured into my Abbot Ale glass tankard on 15th June 2012. Lovely deep copper coloured body, on top an off-white crown of bubbles which sadly turned to a wisp and collar far, far too quickly. The nose has toffee and caramel within: but not overly sweet by any means. The taste is also leaning towards a maltier feel initially, but very dry in the mouthfeel and a bitter finish smacks your cheeks together somewhat. The maltiness is just a foil for the hops to hide behind until you take a proper gulp and discover the true flavours. Just a bit too dry for my palate, but otherwise fine: would suit a hop liking drinker more than a malt person such as myself.
