Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, würzig, grasig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack sehr malzig, würzig, leicht süß alkoholisch.

Many thanks to Finn for a 500ml flip-top bottle of this one. Loose, foamy, chalk white head. Clear, late straw coloured body. Butter-sweet malty nose with notes of herbal hops. Modest taste of grainy malts and honeyed sweetnes. Herbal hoppy ending. Oily palate. Ok (Tromsø, 04.05.2012).

A golden beer with a weak and white head. Aroma is malty, some honey and some grass. Taste is pure and malty, medium sweetness, some honey. Medium bodied, smooth to drink. Pure, malty, but too sweet bock.

Malty, bitter smell. Copper colour, high white head. Sharp, alcoholic aroma, aftertaste of alcohol and a bit of sweetness. A faint of herbs behind the alcohol. Dislike.

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko Muonio. Lys gyldenbrun med et høyt luftig skum som varer lenge. God maltaroma med innslag av krydder. Veldig lite kullsyre. Myk, oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken er litt syrlig malt med innslag av krydder. Litt bitterhet etterhvert. Søt, syrlig ettersmak som avslutter tørt. KI=6

Aroma is sweetish and rather pure with malt, grain, some butter and corn. Flavour is sweet with malt, some fusel‐like alcohol, grain and hints of metal. Becomes full of honey after some sips. I am not a friend of Heller Bocks, and this wasn’t even a good one.

50cl bottle. Poured clear golden with a dense head but quite quickly disappeared. Aroma has grainy malt, bread and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, grain, hops and alcohol. Lasting malty finish. Thin body for this ABV. Not my kind of beer.
