Fles 33cl thuis. Pruim, hop (Hallertau, Goldings, Saaz), redelijk zoet, chocolade, caramel, dried fruits, nutty, licht droog, wat bruine suiker. (14-12-2024).

Sampled at Oirschots Bierfestival 2024. Opaque dark brown to black color, small beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, light tar in the background, dark malts, sweetish hint in the finish. Hmm decent, but I must say it doesn't have the warmth I like in a quadrupel. Eans a bit too much on the roasty malts, a bit too much towards a stout imo. 7-7-6-6-6

Gedronken tijdens Brabantsbierfestival. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma is houtig en licht moutig. Smaak is licht koffie achtig en zacht. Nasmaak is iets bitter en heeft wat pittigs.

Very dark brown colour with thin head. Aroma has sweet elements of strawberry jam and caramel malt sugars. The flavour has it too but also a rounded, earthy note. Almost towards a charred wood or smokiness. Very rich and thick. Very good if you fancy a sweet beer.

Fles 33cl van de brouwerij. Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig met iets van karamel en wat kandij. Is me iets te zoet eigenlijk.

Geprobeerd met Inoven en Roelzie1986 op het Brabants Bierfestival te Oirschot. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een volle medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige en zoete geur. De smaak is toffee achtig en kruidig.
