Dark, reddish brown, sweetish-malty and well-hopped, Münchener-style beer. Four different malts and Saazer hops are used in brewing.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear nut brown, small head. Behind the chocolatey nose lies a thin and sharp barren body. Metallic edges grow on the chocolate instead of bitterness. Has the flavours, but desperately needs drinkability.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Clear deep and warm amber golden with a creamy off-white head. Unclean fruit aroma. Light body, dry and extremely unclean fruit notes with an ashy edge. Dry finish. Poor. 220309

Bottle, 3.8%. Herbal, malty aroma, a bit funky reminding me of Jamaican mead. Clear brown colour. Very small white head. The flavour is better than the aroma, malty and slightly roasted. Hint of grain, but OK.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small and off-white head. Cheesy and roasted malt aroma, somewhat strange. Nice roasted caramel malt flavoured, yet with that same herbal off note - somewhat cheesy too - this does go away after a while. Ends dry and lingering roasted malt flavoured.

Draught (Pikkulintu, helsinki) - Copper brown in colour. Malty and grainy aroma with a hint of fruit. The taste is malty and fruity with hints of dried fruit. Drinkable, but needs some work done to it.

Bottled (thanks to mom & dad for bringing from K Citymarket, Rauma). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is cold coffee, roasted malts, some sour notes as well as mild peas and cooked vegetables. Flavour is roasted malts, some spices, wet tobacco ashes as well as some slight notes of caramel, ryebread and some mild cooked vegetables. In this case the cooked vegetables actually fits the beer quite well. VASP are doing a rather good job, being new in business, yet having quite good quality beers.

(Bottled, BB 04/2009). Courtesy of austone. Clear amber color, small white head. Roasted coffeish aroma with hints of chocolate and touch of toffee. Light body, quite carbonated. Cold coffee, rye bread and cocoa powder flavors. Light hops in otherwise watery and slightly metallic finish. Tobacco ash in the aftertaste, too much color malts? Commercial description says ’sweetish-malty’, but this is not sweet but dry and perhaps a bit sour. Not hopeless, but very hard to think when to drink this. Too light for being a winter warmer, too ashy for Christmas food or sauna beer.

(Draught at Sadonkorjuu, Porvoo, on 2008-10-25) Pale amber. Clear. Medium sized white quite long lasting head. Very clear aroma of fresh malts in nose. Full bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Fresh malts, metallic flavours and bitterness in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.
