Cloudy brown beer. Soft palate tending toward dry. Moderate carbonation that starts to bite a little in the middle. Complex taste profile. Slightly sour fruit and malt to start, then getting in to a sweetish fruit mid and a semi spicy finish with red wine and port undertones. Nice!

Bottle, 33cl. An almost clear, brownish golden beer topped by a small beige head. The flavor has some juniper in the back, with alcohol and a malty sweetness dominating. The flavor is also mostly malty sweetness, with caramel, some juniper and a little bitterness. Medium, slightly warming mouthfeel. A bit short finish. I might not sound very pleased with this one, but actually it was a quite nice suprise. (090605)
