Bottled. Dark brown color. Malty, buttery aroma with cinnamon. malty, buttery, caramelly flavor. Rancid butter aftertaste, with some burning alcohol. Diacetyl all over, without that it would have been a decent beer.

Bottle 300ml.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour - tart berries, dried fruit sweet, wood and brett notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, dry. Not sure if this is what the brewer wanted but it did turn out very nice ;O) Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO a sour ale. [20100917]

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear reddish amber with an off-white head. The nose has a little tart Brett and lacto with sour cherries. Medium body, some sweet and Kriek-like notes with a whiff of Brett and wood. Ends dry. I’m not sure everything was intended in this beer, but it came out pretty good. 170910

Bottle: Lots of floaties, amber coloured, big - quickly collapsing loose white head; vinous spicy cinnamon) nose with a sourish-fruity background; moderate sweetish, sourish and bitter flavour, medium bodied; (x-mas) spices in the light vinous and alcoholic finish. No repetition necessary......
