Bottle. Hazy golden color, with a big head but not lasting long as the best bavarian weizen, also not so creamy. Aroma is typical of the weizen, banana notes, yeasty. Taste is malty, yeasty. Mild. An ok weizen, one of the better ones in Hungary, but a bit weak. One last thing about the label: it’s funny but because I’m not German. From a brewery on Balaton lake I wouldn’t expect this irony, considering that a big part of the local economy it’s thanks to the German tourists.

0.5l bottle. Slightly hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma of cloves, yeast and some banana. Taste of lemon zest, banana, bread and honey. OK weizen.

Tap at Egylet. Shared with courtesy of Pornoguru! Murky ochre body. Nice, mild aroma, banana and caramel. Mild taste, caramel and mild carbonation, vaaague banana. That’s all really, tasty, but weak and a bit forgettable. Not a bad try.

Bottled 500ml. -Hazy darker golden coloured, small white head, mild yeasty nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, light caramel, banana and notes of vegetables with touch of spices in rather sweet finish. Not bad.

Bottle @ Beer Company, Budapest. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty and light yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet. Light dry finish with a minor unclean edge. Helmut will certainly have better Weizens available back home in Munich. 100716

Bottle @ Beer Company (Kemenes), Budapest. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, banana, fruits, wheat malt and hops.
