0.568l can. Ipercoop Montedoro. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, nuts, mild coffee and caramel. Pours almost black color with large soapy light brown head and poor lacing. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly, nutty and grassy,
following is roasted and dried fruity, mouthfeel is smooth but dry, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Sessionable Baltic porter…

0,568 (1pint) can from Poprad Tesco. The beer inside is even more beautiful than the can: deep, brown, with reddish hues, and a huge, brown, creamy, thick, everlasting foam on top. Aroma: sweet, roasted malt, which you can already feel through the thick head at the beginning, since it's like whipped cream, you can't feel the beer through it yet :) The first sip from under the head is properly full-bodied, creamy, not dry, quite bitter, coffee, earthy, but also dried plum. Complex and delicious. The coffee roasted flavor is the dominant one, but it's strong. The alcohol is not terrible, it's barely noticeable, you don't need more than that, it still has an "imperial" effect. Very nice, and just as delicious Baltic porter, I really liked it!
***

Rica

Can 568ml (LT) Dark brown colour, small steady beige head and light lace. Rye bready aroma with some sugary notes. Light to medium-bodied. Toastyness, some rye bread but unfortunately lots of sweetish saccarine. Way too sweet to be a proper macro Baltic porter.

Volfas Engelman Baltic Porter. Barwa bardzo ciemna, niemalże czarne w kierunku brązu. Delikatne rubinowe refleksy.
