Bottled 33cl flip top@OPP (BB 01/2011)
Dark nut brown color, small beige head. Nose has caramel and lactose, some riped banana. Medium-bodied. Crisp. Flavor is a bit yeasty, caramel, banana, chocolate. Smooth palate. Quite pleasant balanced flavor between weizen-like fruity banana and toasted malty chocolate.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Smells and tastes very much like a doppelbock - sweet and alcoholic, a bit moldy and dry finish. Interesting!

bottle, thanks to Bochum! Deep dark brown, nearly back colour, very small and quickly disapearing head. Unusually dark for a Weizenbock. Malty nose. Malty and wheaty, hints of banana mixed with dark dried fruit and a touch of berries. Smooth carbonation. Delicious winter brew.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Intens aroma of caramel, yeast and alcohol. Good body, a little flat, notes of ashes, caramel, sherry and overripe fruit. The finish is dry. A very delicious dark Weizenbock. 050608

Bottle.. Ripe banana, clove, and chocolate malt aroma - moderate astringency. Hazy dark orange-brown color with no head. Astringent chocolate malt and banana flavor. More bock than weizen characteristics. NIce.

Bottle, 6.5%. Sweet, malty aroma, perhaps hint of liquorice. Seemingly hazy, dark brown colour. Sweetish liquorice flavour, dark malts. Dark bread aftertaste. Low carbonation.
