Tap. Almost black, good coffee foam. Aroma: burnt, caramel, slightly fruity, a little coffee, black bread crusts, light sweetness. Taste: burnt, rather dry, a little caramel, bitter chocolate, slightly creamy velvety, light sourness and bitterness on finish, smooth and clean, quite good.

Panda at home from Grumbo, cheers Graham, 08/01/23. Black with a decent tan covering that eventually escapes to the edge of the glass. Nose is light roast, cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds, toffee. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, roast malts, toffee, light spice, charr. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, light drying close with a roasted edge. Not bad ... smashes the 1.1 given for my previous Armenian rate!

27/12/2022. Bottle at the ITFC Christmas beer share. Courtesy of Painy, many thanks! Pours clear very dark brown with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, coffee, light smoke, ash, meaty edge. Moderate sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Slightly oily, moderate body, average carbonation. Pretty decent.

330ml bottle [simply as Stout, 4.8% abv, 30 IBU as well]. Jet black colour with average, frothy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, minimally bready, dark malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, burnt caramel, pumpernickel, coffee surrogate, a touch of treacle, coal, tarmac. Taste is bitter hoppy and bitter, roasty dark malty, some residual dark malty sweetness as well, notes of coffee, mocha, coffee surrogate, pumpernickel, some dark caramel, mineral whiffs of ashes. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, simultaneously minimally metallic, repellent palate, very fine, soft to flat, still efficacious carbonation. Very rich and manifold for its low abv - stupendous.

Bottle, just labelled stout. Very dark brown with a tan head that settles around a cm. Aroma of caramel, a little cheese, coffee, roast. Medium bodied, silky, low carbonation. Sweet caramel, mild roast, modest but sufficient bitterness to be a decisive finish. Harmonious but a bit subdued.
