330ml bottle [as Black IPA]. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and citrusy, grassy, slightly piney, hoppy aroma, notes of coffee and lemon, hints of dark chocolate. Taste is bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy and roasty, dark malty, notes of liquorice, some treacle, subtle sweetness, light tartness. Watery, minimally oily texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Partially very nice, slightly dirty flavours, rather standard Black IPA in other respects - very enjoyable.
