(bottle) Clear copper colour with a persistent medium-sized beige foam. Slightly sweet toast-malty and nutty aroma with caramel, liquorice and hints of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour, medium body, smooth carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel, nuts; slightly bitter and quite short malty finish with warming alcoholic notes. All in all a decent dark Bock. My thanks go to EithCubes for this one.

Bottled. Brown beer with a small, beige head. Sweet, caramel flavor, with alcohol-notes reminiscent of that of a mellow cognac. Slightly roasted notes too. Sweet, malty, caramel flavor with alcohol and some roastiness. A little metallic flavor can be felt on the tip of the tongue. Medium body and a roasted, long bitterness in the finish. I could wish for some more body and less alcohol-flavor in this beer. (060213)

A slightly hazy brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol as well as slightly burnt malt.

(Bottle 50 cl) Nutty brown with plenty of roasted malt and flavours of caramel. Some sweetness, but not overpoweringly so. Solid and very potent body. Nice brew. 160301

Bottle - very subtle aroma of sweet malt. Clear reddish brown color. Sweet molasses flavor with a chalky finish. Not overly strong for a bock. Not too bad.
