Deep amber copper color. Buttery peanut brittle, orange blossom tea aromas follow through to a rich chewy and fruity full body with nice notes of caramel drizzled dried apricot and roasted grains and spice. Finishes with a long, tangy grilled grapefruit and chocolate fade.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Norm's, late summer or early fall of '08 Overall Impression: I really enjoyed this one. I knew that I probably would as I am a big fan of the regular Dead Guy. I don't have a ton of notes on this rating, but it is a really good brew...

750 ml bottle thanks to deft!Shared with deft and ekstedt on June 8, 2009BB DEC 2010Clear copper color, off-white head. Sweet, malty, grainy, caramel scent. Grainy, bitter, alcohol, malty taste. Harsh bitter afteraste. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness.

Bottle, 22oz. Shared by tarjei. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a finger-thick, creamy, beige head. Resiny, beef-stocky nose, feeling a bit weak, but that might be due to the previous two beers. Resiny, slightly citrusy flavor with malts enough to support it. Some beef-stock too. Medium body, rather dry for a beer this sweet. Quite intense bitterness in the finish. Not sure about this one, a bit too intensely bitter maybe, and surprisingly dry, but wouldn’t shy away from having it again. (090805)

Lots of hops and sugar. Cloudy brown and bitter, but simple and one dimensional. Still an improvement over Dead Guy.

This thing definitely, improved with age. Deep amber-red color, lovely nose of cherries and grapefruits with the distinctive maltiness that regular Dead Guy has. Full bodied. Well balanced, fruity, with big malt backbone. Bitterness is somewhat restrained, with a long subdued bitter finish. Much more balance and complexity than the regular. High enjoyable.

Amber with a big and lasting off-white head. Floral and citrus aroma, with malt and a little alcohol. Sweet and malty flavour with some hops and some alcohol. Rathercloying.

Thanks to Rogueone for sharing the bottle I got her for her birthday. This brew is a clear orange color with a medium thin and creamy light beige head that recedes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Hops and sweet caramel in the nose primarily, plus a bit of fruit. Medium body with a resiny hops and caramel flavor backed up by citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering hops aftertaste. Enjoyable overall.

Bottle from VinensVerden, Odense. Pours unclear amber with a creamy white head. Nose is sweet and hoppy of caramel and hops. Full bodied. Chewy malty, lots of caramel and bread with a good amount of bitter grapefruity hops. Long bitter and dry end. Nice
