Brewed with Pilsner and Cystal malts massively hopped in in the continuous fashion. The flavor is complimented by the addition of Apricots. After fermentation the beer is dry hopped with irresponsible amounts of Amarillo hops.

Draft: Clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Apricot, sweet toffee malt scent. Taste is sweet, apricot and caramel malt. Really soft and creamy....mild hops. Really pleasant.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Aroma of earthen work and caramel malts. Not much of the apricot or Cascade detected here. Pours a clear orange-amber with full white head. Taste is malty and muddled, with nothing really standing on display. Moderate bittering.

Draught Amber color with small off white foamy head, slight apricot aroma, low carbonation, slightly bitter taste with apricot flavor, long finish. The apricot flavor is not very prominent.

Old rating. One of my absolute favorite dogfish head brews. Floral hop, malt and dried fruit on the nose. Great hop and malt balance present. Hoppy but not overbearing. Maltly, but not too much. As it comes to room temperature the apricot shows itself. Crisp and clean on the palate. Refreshing with a nice smooth crisp finish. A classic original.

Pours amber/copper, small head.Nose shows sweet malt, overripe apricot and some booze. The apricot is stronger as a flavour. Some spicy hops too, along with a little hot booze and rich sweet malt.

Good integration of apricot and IPA elements here. Pours orange with OK head and lacing. Light bitter finish with some malt. Some citrus. Tap at Rehoboth Beach brewpub.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home prior to seeing the band Radioactivity, which will be good! Appearance is a light golden brown with a moderate white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of apricot, really nice leafy hop aroma. Taste finishes equal parts tart and bitter, apricot has a very nice flavor to it, nicely balanced between fruit and hops. This one’s a real winner.
