Brewed with Pilsner and Cystal malts massively hopped in in the continuous fashion. The flavor is complimented by the addition of Apricots. After fermentation the beer is dry hopped with irresponsible amounts of Amarillo hops.

the only knock i have against a lot of DFH beers is that they incorporate way too many flavors and instead of making some really complex and interesting beers, what they come out with is just a blob of tastes. the first one tastes good, the seconf starts to get annoying, and a third os out of the question. this was no different, the first sip was interesting and full bodied, by the time i made my way to the end of the first one, i was sick of it.

355ml Bottle, via in person trade with GodOfThunder, thanks Jay! Clear amber/chestnut colour, off white head. Aroma of hops, pine, grapefruit, some apricots. Flavour is light sweet, but mostly malty, caramel, hops, pine and grapefruit, light fruity in the bitter finish. Nice thirstquencher with a bit too much alcohol for that purpose. Medium bodied, spritzy mouthfeel, just a bit overcarbonated imo. Good stuff.

I did not enjoy this beer. I’m not against adding fruit to beers, but this doesn’t work for me. The blend of hops and apricot smells and flavors is off-putting. I don’t want to rag on this beer, but the flavor is almost a yogurty, lactic sour, and there just isn’t a nice way to say that for this style. It doesn’t taste artificial. My problem solely lies in the combination of these particular hop and apricot flavors. I appreciate the experimentation. It tempts me to give the beer a higher score, but I just didn’t enjoy it.

This fruit beer poured a dark orange colour with a quick living, bright white head. To the nose there are scents of apricots, ripe citric fruit, bread and a little caramel. First sip was different. Flavours of apricots, hopps and citrus. Slightly watery. Finish is lame and watery with hopp/apricote bitterness lingering.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with small off-white head. Aroma is mild hops fruity and caramelish. Sweet and fruity flavoured with a distinct citrusy and light peachy hops dominant flavour. Good caramel malt flavoured body to this. Ends dry and crisp bitter.
