Our annual Birthday beer. Originally brewed to celebrate our 100th beer on our kit, Dooper is a DIPA version of our flagship beer Looper.

Soft and juicy with zesty sweet lemon and lime. Be careful, because despite the high ABV, this beer is hugely drinkable! Hopped to the eyes, however, bitterness takes a back seat to a nice gentle grapefruit finish.

NEDIPA by one of (old) England's specialists in the genre, originated as an anniversary edition; can from DeApotheek, bought after a free taster at the shop, thanks Bart! Medium thick, creamy, snow white, somewhat irregular but stable head, opaque peach blonde robe with beige-ish tinge. Intense aroma of granadilla, guava, mango purée, fresh dough, grated ginger, crumbled Betterfood, a whiff of wodka, marihuana-like dankness, pineapple juice, pomelo zest. Utterly juicy onset, sweet-fruity with a slight sourish-citrusy edge, lots of passionfruit and mango with dashes of papaya and pineapple, medium carb with full, fluffy, rounded body. Creamy, doughy malt base thoroughly soaked in this tropical hoppiness with citric edge, bringing back all, the mango and passionfruit as well as the pomelo, but also a peppery bitterness reinforced by wodka-like alcohol but more so by a certain degree of hop burn - with a bitter, (hop-)oily effect I can appreciate - so even if there is a certain hop burn, it remains sufficiently agreeable in this case not to bother me. This is not another turbid 'hop soup': this is, everything considered, a well-structured, very convincing and expressive, utterly radiant hazy IPA - very good in its genre indeed.

Aroma of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grass, lemon, pine, moderate malt. White foam, orange and cloudy. Taste similar to aroma, pleasant, relaxing, easy to drink, alcohol nicely hidden. Very enjoyable

440ml can. Hazy, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, paradigmatically osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Piney and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of pine, resin, some apple, minimally bready, malty background with a touch of crisp bread; more tropical fruity hoppy aspects after a while, whiffs of raspberry as well. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally bready, malty and mildly bitter, piney, resinous, slightly fruity and minimally grassy hoppy, hints of apple, some tropical fruit, a touch of crisp bread, muesli. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, slightly scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.

Can at hotel room with Laura. Unclear yellow color, white head. Aroma is citrus fruity, quite fresh, lightly grassy. Flavor is malts, more heavily citrus as in overripe fruit, hops, thick hoppiness. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad.

Can at tasting. Label says 8.7%. Poured hazy and orange in color. Citrusy hoppy brew with some zesty, grapefruity goodness in flavor. Juicy and quaffable.
