Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep, dark brown to pitch black with a finger of lighter brown head that lingers. Huge maple and bourbon focused nose with vanilla, oak and black pepper notes. More of the same on the palate with lots of bourbon and maple, but good peppery notes to balance out the maple sweetness. Smooth, thick and delicious. Oak, mild vanilla and warming bourbon on the finish. Great stuff yet again from the stout kings of Michigan.
