From tap at Ølbaren. Pours black and with a dense creamy brown head. Light chocolate and roasted malt aroma. Smooth chocolate flavour with a following liqourice note. Ends with a nice chocolate malt flavour. Nice and sweet chocolate dense brew. I lack some complexity here, somewhat ’too’ clean and almost one dimensional, but certainly tasty.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a huge lazing dark brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt and dark chocolate as well as lighter notes of smoke, licorice, and vegetables - the latter I think stem from the hard roasted malt? The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of roated malt and chocolate as well as some spices, leading to a dry and very roasted finish. The alcohol lingers in the back ground.
