Let's take Nugget and double it. Well, it wasn't quite that easy, but it sure was a fun balancing act. To start, we boosted the Simcoe, and this complex hop's notes of apricot, peach rings and bright citrus are the star of the show. Azacca enters the picture to add hints of juicy orchard fruit, and Munich malt brings a bready sweetness. To strike a balancing note, Columbus joins Nugget hops, grounding this limited release with a layer of dank pine.

A one pint can purchased from Half Time early in the year. I have it very cold and ready to go into my ABGB snifter. The appearance is dark amber in color and a following large head of tan-settling-to-silver foam. The scent is attractive, I get grain, malt, hops and cane syrup. The drink is likewise nice, surprisingly good. Plenty of hops bitterness wrapping around baked bread, caramel, a bit of red plums and the malt again. Plenty of mouthfeel, mighty full. A fine amber ale, one of the best for me ever here well down the road.

Mild bread nose. Clear copper, firm medium head, nice lace. Sweet caramel, bread, subtle triple sec on the back end. Full body easy carbonation. I have to he in the mood for this type of beer. Fortunately, I am.

Still a favorite for me. Impressively.

Apricot, peach rings, with a floral, malty finish. Nice. Love seeing Brennan and Richy doing Madders celebration after turning around the 0-1 deficit into a 3-1 lead!

Happy to get to try this after it was sold out at my first attempt. Fine burnt orange brew and fairly clear colored with a decent sized noggin. Nose is malt and pine. Tastes of pine, apricot, peach, malty, fruit punch gum. Medium bodied hint of chewiness. Lingering fruit and hint of boozy warming.

Can from Harvest. Pours a mostly clear copper amber with a full two fingers of fluffy, beige head that lingers. Nice lacing down the glass. Grapefruit, toasted caramel, warming alcohol and rooibos tea aromas. More of the same on the palate with grapefruit, orange and pine along with more rooibos underneath. Silky smooth with a soft mouthfeel. Lingering bitterness and warming alcohol.

Pours deep garnet into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. White pez, apricot, peach, resin and weed aromas. Thick with earthy sweet caramel and pine front to back. Lasting earthy pine finish.
