A to včetně sladů, kdy jediná dostupná technologie sušení namočeného ječmene bylo použití kouře z přímého ohně, tedy princip jakéhosi táboráku kombinovaný s udírnou.

No prostě nakouřená, až lehce uzená.

Odtud i název V3Rauchbier, tedy Visegrádská pivní trojspolupráce.

(plastic bottle, 100cl) Hazy, mahogany colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Distinctively smoke-malty aroma with notes of bacon and burnt wood. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Intensively smoke-malty taste with notes of burnt wood and a tinge of vanilla; a bit slim mildly bitter and smoky finish with a slightly burnt aftertaste. Despite the abv a bit slim, but nevertheless likeable. 01.VI.11

Lahav z Pivoteky: Deep amber coloured, a bit hazy, smaller firm and stable off-white head; burnt wood, caramell and a tinge of vanilla in the nose, some berries underneath, chocolate, too; moderate to solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; smokey-woody finish, ashy, too, with fruity and caramelly spots. Well made brew, the label says:" Brewed too remind You of nice evenings - with friends - around the fire" .The truth....

Half pint from the draft menu at Euston Tap where it was served comfortably chilled and in full measure. Clear, dark brown body. Spotty lacing. Bacon smell with dark malts. Rather moderately smoked flavour together with semi-sweet, dark malts. Soft carbonated. Refreshing (London, 21.03.2011).
