500ml bottle. Somehow never rated this one. One of my favorite Doppelbocks, so rich and deep. Full bodied, but still quite drinkable. Bready, smooth body. Deep fruity tones meld with the caramel and chocolate. Excellent.

Pours clear dark amber with a beige head. Aroma of toasted malts, dark breads. Similar taste, with some caramel, toffee and warming alcohol. Sweet finish.

Aromas are dark malt, roast, wet grain, with a little bit of molasses and caramel. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, on the sweet side with molasses coming out more. Good carbonation and some bitter to balance. Medium body and slightly sweet finish. Good doppelbach.
