Flight. Opaque colour and steady beige head and lace. Roasted, coffeish aroma. Light-bodied. Roasted, coffeish, pleasant. Touch of smoke. Just light for its abv.

Aromas are dark malt, with a little roast and molasses and a hint of smoke. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, balanced between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Smoke comes out to touch more along with a little chalky texture. Not bad not great.

Can @ Home. Pours black with a nice sized creamy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, milk chocolate, cocoa, light smoke. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, rich roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, mild smoke, little dark bread, light alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish with a hint of warming alcohol. 130420

Keg at the brewery, 1/26/19. Black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate. Taste is roast, leather, chocolate, raisin, vanilla. Medium bodied, oily. Very nice.

Tap at Third Space. Unfiltered looking brown-black body. Steady beige head. Big, full bodied. Creamy, rich. Really nails it. The lager notes are great, silkening the body out. Fresh. Nails it. Imperial Baltic Porter.
