On tap at More Brewing Villa Park. Amberish with white head. Caramel, malty, light fruity notes, sweet. Medium carbonation and medium body.

Leaning more traditional which is great but I wish they would have gone further. Outstanding brick red color with a nice cream colored head that sticks around for a while. Flavors are similar to nose, adding in malt qualities like caramel and toast, but what's missing is the slight toasty dryness of the best Oktoberfest in the finish. Still, good effort.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Roast malt, hops and caramel in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of toasty malt, caramel and mild fruity hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
