GB Bock² is a deep-red coloured beer with an impressive rich white foam collar. Bock² has a full-bodied scent of dark types of malt with rich flavours of caramel and a vinous alcohol in the background. It has a nice rich taste with overweight of sweet malt and caramel.

Bottle. Pours clear amber/tea with quickly vanishing off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt combined with a slightly sourish, vinous note. Sweetish taste of malt and caramel completed by a sourish finish. Quite decent.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with small off-white head. Aroma is sour green apples, sweet malt, yeast and banana. Taste is fresh sour and light bitter. Palate is smooth and creamy with medium carbonation which gives a good freshness. Finish is dry bitterness with notes of roasted malt and nuts.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma had sweet malt notes as well as a bit of dark fruit. Flavor was sweet from the malts as well with an awkward underlying sour note.

Bottle from a supermarket in Denmark, Sept 2008 Pours reddy brown in colour with a white head looks quite wonderful actually. Nose is sticky molassess and warming alcohol. Taste is sweet and a little sticky, chewy toffee, cinder or burnt toffee nice warmth from alcohol, loads of heavy malts, really likeable and possibly more flavoursome and appreciated as it follows me having just had two sours.

Bottle from Fotex in Copenhagen. Chestnut colour. Not the greatest bock. Too sweet, not a great bock. Some fruity malt in body. Some crisp finish.
