Amber coloured with a large, dense head. Malty aroma with notes of toffee and red currants. Sweet, malty flavour with notes of red berries and liquorice. Surprisingly light body. Goes down very easy.

Bottled. Ckear brown, with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with some sweetness. Rich, lightly roasted and malty-sweet flavor with some dried fruits in it. Sweet, full body. Nice doppelbock. (060430)

Bottle. Red brown colour with a beige head. Balanced roasted caramel flavour. Roasted bitter finish.

Beautiful amber/copper with a medium off-white head. Malt and bread aromas. Quite bitter flavour with some malt sweetness.

Bottle. Creamy white fair mostly lasting head. Wonderfull orange colour. Powerfull hop´py aroma. Nice taste, but a little alcoholic. Average finish. Good palate. I will try this again.

Draught. Dark chestnut brown colour. Very small head. Quite malty flavour, a little nutty. Roasted malt, a little dusty. High carbonation. Aftertaste is a little sourly bitter.

Very small, yellowish head; orange-chestnut coloured beer, still carbonation. Earthy, (chest)nutty nose, whiffs of chocolate and of hops (bit as Mexican mole sauce). Alcohol too, almondy. First watery-sweet beer, getting bitterish and, at least partially, filling in. This watery consistency seems to be a characteristic to GB beers - Mike M doesn’t seem to believe in MF nor in carbonation. Again some chocolate in the finish. Consistency of a British (best)bitter at best. In the aftertaste, I have a "foxy", slightly burning caramel flavour, but it cannot save the lack of flavour sofar. Not very great D-bock. Mike, try some Belgian stuff to learn about MF. Or Eis-Bock this.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark, hazy amber golden with a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Malty aroma with notes of alcohol. Very potent and solid body with notes of overripe fruit. The alcohol is very present - and perhaps a slight note of honey in there too. Very wellcrafted beer, but also this time a little low in carbonation. 141005
