Bottle. A clear, dark copper colored beer with a nice, dense, light beige head. The aroma is lightly roasted, with toffee-ish malts and some pleasant citrusy, lightly peppery hops. Medium to full body, pleasantly carbonated, and with flavors of citrus, pale malts, some toffee and bitterness. Pleasant bitterness in the finish. A quite nice one, certainly one I could drink more of. 120405

0.4l bottle. This bottle is completely over filled! Not one millimeter of space for any air in the bottle. Not sure if that was intentional or if it has anything to say, but thought it was worth mentioning. Aaaanyhow, it pours a clear ruby-brown body with a nice big beige head. The aroma is a bit low perhaps, so I'll let it warm up a bit more.. (10 minutes later) Yeah! Now we got some aroma here! A near fruity-sweet touch with hints of both caramel and Belgian yeast. Nice enough actually. It has a good almost creamy texture, surprisingly medium-bodied with a soft carbonation level. It has some nutty flavors with tones of caramel, dark almost burned, not roasted, malts and fruits. Low bitterness all the way. A bit sweet perhaps? Quite nice, and really drinkable. 25.02.2012

Litt tørr bitter i ettersmaken.
