I call it Hazy because that’s what the label says, my first venture with the brewery. A 12 oz can coming off the singles rack at the closest HEB. My Great Heights tulip glass sits waiting for the pour. I see a surprisingly clear, light yellow body with a pillowy top of wholly white foam. The nose is citrus, tropical and lightly pine. I have a drink, pineapple right off, grass, a touch of melon, pine again and bread dough. Decently sweet and a bare touch of bitterness. Nothing to dislike here. Better than anticipated.

12oz can. Perhaps the most obnoxious thing in the beer world: the stylistically untrue wannabe hazy IPA. Doesn't look or smell true to style. The flavor is closer, lead by a wheaty feel. Sort of a big IPA, on the edge of IIPA. Some soft tropical melon tones back up by some more classical NW resin. Drinkable, but not really good, and certainly not a quality hazy IPA.

The fairly mild aromas are dry dusty hops with a little bit of resin and citrus. Flavors are very much like nose, slightly sweet up front with some bitter in the back, good body and carbonation with a bit of hop burn in the finish.
