Very dark brow with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy tan head that left good lacing. Roasty and woody with a hint of honey. Long finish. Medium body.

12oz bottle. Rather honey forward, more than stands up to the malts, sort of dominates. True to style I suppose for a honey beer more than a brown, some mellow chocolate tones balance it out. OK.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman’s Appleton, 3/1/22. Clear dark red, large frothy tan head, fair retention. Looks nice. Aroma of nuts, honey, toffee malts, bit of coffee. Taste is caramel, tea, nuts, citrus. A bit thin. High carb. Nice overall.

Basically it's a brown ale traditional style with a little bit of bitterness and maybe some honey in the finish.
