In the can the aromas are roast and dark malt, but in the glass add in metallic and a little mineral. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, thankfully not overly sweet, kind of a workingman's stout, straightforward balanced and accessible. Good stuff actually. In an uninspired way.

On tap at Runyons. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is roast forward with a slight smokiness and an earthy dark grain backbone. Flavor has earthy dark grains and earthy and dry roast with a hint of chocolate backing.
