Puls Dark Lager is a traditional dark lager. Dark brown in colour, malty with hints of caramel and breadiness. Moderate bitterness and hop flavour are not dominating and are well balanced with slight sweet notes in aftertaste. Nice creamy foam top at the serving.

Vestjysk Vinter Vanvid januar 2014. Copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of grainy malt and dusty yeast. Sweet grainy malt flavour with dusty notes and cardboard.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber to brown beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is malty, wort-like, with some raisins. Caramel too. The flavor is malt driven, with some raisins and caramel. Not much hoppyness going on. Medium body, quite dry, and with a decent carbonation level. Short, malty finish. Not a bad one, but most definitely not interesting either. 140117

50cl bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Mild malty aroma with some roasty notes and hints of caramel. Sweet and malty with some bitterness. Fairly lightbodied and easy to drink. Ok. (2013-11-10)

bottle, many thanks to FatPhil! Clear, deep brown colour, nearly black, mid-sized, creamy beige head. Aroma of caramel. Medium-bodied, sweet malty base with lots of caramel, hints of chocolate. Earthy hops in the lingering finish. A touch of fruit (apple) is present. Very smooth carbonation. Very nice, thank you, Phil!

Bottle. (thanks SaintMatty) Clear dark brown with a medium head. Sweet aroma and taste of malt, dark bread and a touch of dried fruit and caramel. Light mouth feel, medium carbonation, low bitterness. Not bad but not a masterpiece.

(Bottle at Hell Hunt, Tallinn) Poured dark brown and clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma was mildly malty. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramell, mildly roastedness, acridness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter.
