Very hazy dark red-amber beer. Malty nose. Zero carbonation. Slightly dry palate. Fairly rich malt with a little toffee. A little bit of fruit coming through towards the end and just a little aniseed alcohol in the aftertaste. Flat and disappointing.

2009 bottle. Almost clear amber, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, some caramel and a trace of dry cream. Mildly tangy dried fruits. Little peppery spice. Dried orange. Touch of jammy raspberry. Light semi dry finish. Not bad at all.

Dark brown with some yeast particles. Aroma has vegetables and berries typical to Danish ales. Also some grapefruit juice. Richness with raisins typical to quadrupels is present. Flavour has alcohol, some peaches, fruit flesh, berries and caramel malt. All those will be run over by alcohol towards the finish. Drinkable.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Best before 2010. Pours with a murky deep golden body with a small white head. Aroma of apple, brandy, and caramel. Sweet flavor, brandy, boozy, alcohol, fruit. Light bubbles.

Draught at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small tan head. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit and caramel aroma with toffee hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with spicy hints and hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty caramel and dark fruit finish with some spicy hints in the aftertaste.

75cl bottle at home. unclear brown, small light brown head. quite typical strong belgian aroma - malts, caramel, faint berries or floral perfume, aroma is mild, but very delicate and promising. flavor is fruity (fresh berries), strong alc, caramel, mild spices. again a mild but delicate flavor.

Tap at beer festival. Poured a cloudy brown with a light brown head. Aroma was fruity with notes caramel and spices, as well as a hint of alcohol. Flavor is swweet and fruity with some spice. There is a bit of alcohol present at the finish.

Draft. A amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, candy sugar, and caramel, as well as light notes of spices. The alcohol is felt on the palate as a tickle.
