This Coconut Key Lime Pie Sour á la Mode is loaded up with lime & coconut, plus a little banana, cream cheese, granola, lactose, & vanilla beans and it tastes just like the real thing with some super tart lime that’s immediately mellowed out by lots of creamy coconut. So get comfy, maybe put on some stretchy pants, grab yourself a slice and settle in for a tasty time!

Can from Beerdome. Muddy yellow with a white head. It was even chunky when pouring from the can. Ugh. Aroma is sweet, malty, heavy lime, lactose and light banana. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Sweet and moderate acidic finish. Oily and soft. There are chunks of something in this beer and that is not pleasant at all. Otherwise I would probably have given a 4 for mouthfeel. 150322

16 oz. Aroma has notes of lime, graham cracker, coconut. Pours a murky yellow-green snot pus nightmare color with bile-colored foam. Taste is highly sour (9/10) and pretty sweet, finishing with a pithy bitterness with Key Lime pie flavors. Banana and coconut are subtle but there. Smoothie mouthfeel.

Appearances are a frothy off-white head with a cloudy yellow body. The mild Aromas are mainly part line with hint of coconut. Flavors are much like nose, mainly tart with a slight hint of sweet at first. Lime comes on stronger. Decent body and carbonation with a big lime finish.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 9/10/21. Really fucking ugly. Opaque pale yellow, a thin frothy white head that with the color looks like curdled milk. Definitely will be the lowest appearance score. Hopefully the rest of the experience is better. Aroma of tart lime, hint of coconut. Taste is lime, vanilla, coconut, graham cracker. Bright tartness. Nice beer, but, still god damn gross. It coats the glass.
