The Aromas are caramel malt, circus peanuts and a little bit of Toffee. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, fairly nondescript and slightly sweet. Okay body carbonation and Finish. Forgettable.

Draft at brewpub. Amber pour. Nose is light toffee and anise. Tastes malty, caramel, licorice. Subdued. Thinner for style.

12 ounce can from Festival Northland, 9/11/21. Clear amber, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, raisin, a bit of citrus. Taste is caramel, cherry, toffee, hint of anise. Crisp, decent balance. Solid.

12oz can. Amber-orange body, unfiltered with lots of chunky floaties. On the amber malt side of the style, not really nailing it, but some enjoyable thick European malts. Heavy handed, doesn't really have much finesse. Still drinkable, enjoyable enough.
