Can, 0.473l. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, coconut and dried fruit. Pours almost black color with medium sized quickly diminishing brown orange head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt and mild coffee, following is nutty with coconut and dried fruity note, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Dance of the dead…

can from beergium. No brewed date or best before date on the can so I don't know how fresh or vintage it is. Pours dark brown with a brown head.medium strong roasted malty aroma as well as caramel and perhaps some faint bitter spices. flavor is sweet roasted malty, baking powder like sweetness, fresh coconut juice, bourbon like sweetness, lies in a strange place between a bourbon stout and a pastry stout. The flavor grows on you and it ends up tasting like a fine-dine dessert. mouthfeel is a bit troubeling, it's like water with dough particles in it. hard to describe, but doesn't feel right. (no off flavors so the beer is certanly not bad). Strange beer. Good winter warmer.

0.47l can. Black body with visible floating sediments and a quickly disappearing head. Aroma and taste of coffee, cocoa, dark choclate, nutmeg, caramel and some booze. Not a lot from the coconut. Strong and sweet beer. Nice one.

Both Aromas and flavors are dark malt and coffee. Flavors on the sweet side thankfully not too sweet, a little bitter in the background with a coffee finish. Good body and carbonation. Not bad but nothing remarkable. I don't pick up any coconut at all.
