Only a 50ml taster from bottle of this strong ale at EBF 08. Hazy golden. Some bubbles on the surface. Fruity aroma with spicy hints. Dried fruits in flavour leading to some notes of mandarin. Bitter endnotes. Full bodied with notably alcohol and yeast. OK, but far from great. Unsettled? (14.09.2008).

Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Looks like muddy pea soup. Grainy and sweet. Salty with hay and dough. Full bodied and soft with notes of sugar and orange. Salty finish with some warming alcohol. Quite unique and rustic.
