Castaña, bastante oscura, limpia y con un par de dedos de espuma ligeramente ocre. Aroma escaso, malteado. El cuerpo es ligero, algo aguado, y tampoco tiene mucho gas. Lo mejor es el sabor tostado y acaramelado, aunque un poco metálico. Final seco. Agradable, en general aunque se echa en falta fuerza, y contrapunto a la malta.

Aroma: sweet berries and slightly roasted notes. Flavour: sweet corn and berries with a very slight bitter finish. Colour: brown with a light brown head.

Bottle from trade with Marduk (Many Thanks!). Piwo brazowe z refleksami czerwieni i ciemnego bursztynu. Slodkie, karmelowe, brazowy cukier. Troche dla mnie za slodkie i karmelowe. Piana jest znosna choc niewielka ale wyglada ladnie, ale niestety tez szybko opada. Lekko gryzacy posmak w gardle i zbyt wysycone za bardzo. Piwo przecietne.

Dark brown colour with a light beige head. Aroma is slightly caramel and toasted malts. Flavor is light toasty with hints of burnt sugar. Light body in the final.

Malzig-fruchtiges Bier mit dem Aroma dunkler Trockenfrüchte. Sehr süß mit harmonierender Bitternote. Etwas wässrig. Sehr süffig, aber viel zu süß, um die (in Ansätzen) guten Aromen richtig in Szene zu setzen…

50cl bottle from Rimi. Pours copper coloured with a white head. Malty caramel aroma with dark dried fruits. Sweet and caramely with some bitterness. Fairly light bodied. Easy to drink but sweet and boring.

Aroma: hints of caramel. Pours dark brown with white (little tan hints) head. Head stays for some time. Soft carbonation. Taste is dominated by caramel and sweetness, hints of bitterness, but it never really kicks in (not even in finish). Overall: most a le coq beers taste really similar. This is one of the better ones, it has some chracater.

On the train from Hereford to Inverness, bottle thanks to SP, 18/10/13. Clear dark chestnut brown with a light tan covering. Nose is faint toffee, light fruit, cardboard. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, dark fruit tang. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry conclusion. So so.

Smell of roasted malts and rubber. Very dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of rubber, roasted malt, sugar, syrup. Metal also in finish. Medium bitter, medium sweet. Flat carbon, overall rather displeasant.

50 cl bottle @ Rajaportin Saunan Kahvila. Rated on 09.10.2010
Aroma is rather strong on berries. Also some toasted notes and hints of coffee. Flavour has berries, some chocolate and coffee notes. Quite boring.
