(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Clear reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of toasty malt, dark bread, crisp-bread, hints of raisin and brown sugar. Malty, fruity taste with dark bread, caramel, crisp-bread, prunes and a touch of brown sugar. Slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness and fairly low bitterness. Quite neutral and hardly exciting, but decently drinkable.

Bottled, from Tallinn. Clear dark brown, coarse head. Slight coffee aroma. Light-medium bodied with clean, hard mouthfeel. Slightly caramelly, but really rock hard and barren malt character. Tinny finish. Aggressive.

500ml bottle from Tallinn at our Baltic Beer Session 27. Oct. 2009. Soapy head, good lacing and dark amber coloured body. Aroma of resin, malt, herbs and honey. Metallic taste, with hints of herbs and wood.

Bottle at the Kompressor creperie in Tallinn. Poured a deep copper body with a thick white, maybe slightly tarnished, white head. Sweet malty nose, some light carrots. Empty taste, trace maltiness, and carrots again. Nearing crap, and unworthy of the brilliant smoked chicken & feta cheese pancakes that I was eating at the time.

500ml bottle shared at a rating session devoted to 10 beers from Estonia. Soapy, off-white head, mostly collapsing. Dark amber coloured body. Lighter aroma of sweet malts with underlying herbs. Taste of dark honey layered malts, slightly roasted. Some herbal support. Dry on the swallow. A bit metallic impression, Gets rather too sweet (thanks to Elisabeth and Stefan for the bottle, Tromsø 27.10.2009)
