Hand bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes both sweet and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and some smoke, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yngwie for bringing it to Copenhagen.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear, dark brown beer with a small beige head. Toffee, roasted malt, coffee notes and a touch of DMS in the aroma. Roasted, almost burnt malt, quite toasty, with some cooked vegetables, some dried fruits and a coffee-like bitterness. Dry, medium body. Burnt finish. A quite smooth and pleasant beer, but with some off-flavors. Rating: 5-4-6-4-12-3.1. 080911
Bottle. It’s a really dark brown beer, with a small, beige head. A hint of of licorice blends in with the roasted malts in the aroma. Some coffee too. A bit on the sweet side, with coffee and a hint of licorice. A little touch of licorice in the finish. Medium body. A quite nice one, better on bottle than from the tap at the brewery. Still, too much on the sweet side. 100513

(Hand bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a warm dark brown with a tint of red and a small, off-white head. Distinct butter aroma. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt, a low carbonation and then unfortunately again loads of butter. No bitterness. 120908
