0.473l can. Aroma of caramel, bread and dried fruit. Pours cloudy amber brown color with large soapy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet toasted malty and caramelly, following is grassy with decent fruity acidity and some earthy notes, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Could be better…

Das ist mal ne Dose, und das Bier erst. Schönes dunkelbraun im Glas, Toller Sahneschaum, in der Nase malzig, ebenso im Trunk. Schwarzbrot, Kerne, erdig, dezent süß, sehr gute Drinkability. Astreines Teil, der Lord.

1 March 2025. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks to hosting, Tim & Marina, and cheers to the whole crew!
Ripe plum, dried banana, raisin, date, fruit cake. Sweetish raisin, apple, banana; herbal note, bit nutty maltiness. Herbal hops, some rusk & toast, dried fruits. Medium body. Rounded; expected even a bit more maybe.

Can @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Slightly unclear deep mahogany, good off-white head. Aroma brings caramelised malt with a gentle oaky barrel influence, flavour profile compliments with a soft leathery richness. Not bad.

1/III/25 - 1Pt. can @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB: n/a (2025-160) Thanks to nathanvc for sharing the can!
Clear red brown beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, very malty, grains, hay, some cow fodder, soft roast, some caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, malty, slightly sweet, cow fodder, a bitter touch, grains, a hint of chocolate, slightly bitter, some tannins. Aftertaste: more malts, grains, cow fodder, good stuff, decent true-to-style doppelbock!
